Why Jack Jack's Pack Matters 🐶
Jack Jack’s Pack was founded out of love, loss, and a deep calling to help animals in need.
In October 2021, the founders’ beloved senior chihuahua, Jack-Jack, went missing after accidentally slipping out of their home. What followed were months of searching—on foot and by vehicle, through neighborhoods, shelters, news outlets, and countless online platforms. Despite tireless efforts, the experience revealed just how difficult it can be to recover a lost pet.
During the search for Jack-Jack, the family began encountering abandoned, injured, and discarded dogs throughout Central Texas. Each rescue felt purposeful, as though Jack-Jack’s spirit was guiding them toward animals who needed help the most. These dogs were taken in, cared for, and either reunited with their owners or placed on a path toward healing and adoption.
Jack Jack’s Pack was officially formed on Christmas Day 2021. Its mission is to reunite lost pets with their families, rescue street dogs, rehabilitate injured and sick animals, and find loving forever homes. Since Jack-Jack went missing, the organization has helped save more than 2,600 dogs, many of whom required urgent medical care and would not have survived within the traditional shelter system. Every dog rescued is considered part of Jack Jack’s Pack forever, and the work continues in honor of Jack-Jack’s enduring legacy.

As a rescue dog mom, giving back to organizations that protect dogs in need is personal to me. All of my dogs have been rescues and I wouldn't have it any other way.
